SIA coin blockchain download

New to Sia? Me too :) It is easy to install Sia wallet, but it may take forever to sync with the network. Sia developers admit they have a bug in the synchronization algorithm and have promised to fix it. If you have no time to wait for the new release of the Sia wallet, download the Sia blockchain snapshot from here: Date: July 1 2017 Link:  Download from my Google Drive File Size: 5.00 GB (5,368,709,120 bytes) I will try to maintain this post and re-upload fresh blockchain as long as I will be interested in Sia. Installation instructions: 1. Kill Sia client Sia-UI. It will not give up easily, probably you will need to use Win Task Manager. 2. Why did I start this? Introduction.

I have over 30 years of experience in software development and electronic engineering and I have 0 years of experience in cryptocurrency. Strange, isn't it? Now, in 2017 all cryptocurrencies are on the rise. So it got my attention even all the time I am sucked completely inside of my projects at work. My first curiosity was: what is that coin about which valued more than an ounce of gold? Twice! And here my journey starts. My first impression: this is still too complicated for the average Joe to understand how to use all these stuff. I am OK, I can get it, I have more than average knowledge of the command line, scripts, Linux, software code development, etc. But how about you? My second impression: Wow! This is a new big world!
